Job Overview
This role involves performing in-field service repairs on agricultural equipment. The primary focus is on the Central Illinois territory, covering a range of products including Terragators, Rogators, Claas Lexion combines, Fendt, Massey Ferguson, and Challenger tractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and other systems on agricultural equipment.
- Establish and maintain service-oriented relationships with customers.
- Use computer and parts books to identify necessary components.
- Complete service reports and paperwork before and after repairs are made.
- Perform other related duties as requested or assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Completion of a formal technical training program or equivalent experience and knowledge in Ag machinery required.
- Electrical and hydraulic diagnostic and troubleshooting skills essential.
- Basic computer skills needed, especially with Microsoft programs.
- Able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain high-quality service by leaving equipment in excellent condition.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with willingness to relocate within designated territory.
