Maintenance Job Description
The Maintenance Technician I is an essential member of the facilities team, responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of a community. This role involves performing routine preventative maintenance on equipment and tools, diagnosing and repairing minor or routine issues, and assisting in keeping grounds neat and tidy.
Key Tasks:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks as scheduled
- Inspect and coordinate make-ready repairs and services
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety
- Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge
Working Conditions:
- Ability to stand and walk or sit alternatively depending on the specific needs of the day
- Occasional need to bend/stoop/squat, climb stairs, push or pull, and reach above shoulder level
- Ability to lift/move/push/pull up to 150 lbs on occasion
