Responsibilities of Pediatric Home Health Care Professionals
- Administer medications per physician orders
- Provide physician ordered treatments, including nutrition via a feeding tube, tracheostomy care, suctioning, ventilation care, and seizure assessment and treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements for Pediatric Home Health Care Professionals
- Active nursing license
- BLS CPR certification (in-person)
- G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willingness to train
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
- Alzheimer's training (optional)
