Dining Room Specialist

Culinary Role

We are seeking a dedicated Dining Room Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and maintaining the highest quality food experience for all customers. Your responsibilities will include managing kitchen cleanliness, adhering to food safety guidelines, and maintaining effective communication with colleagues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Stock and prepare stations for the service of wood-fired pizza and other menu items.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness throughout your shift.
• Adhere to dress code guidelines that ensure food safety.
• Maintain effective communication with kitchen management and colleagues.
• Ensure smooth food service flow and adhere to time-sensitive requirements.
• Clean and maintain all equipment used for food service.
• Perform daily opening and closing tasks as needed.
• Familiarize yourself with standard operating procedures for operating the pizza oven and additional equipment.
• Manage prep dishes and maintain a clean and organized dish pit.
• Stock dry and perishable goods while following FIFO principles.
• Monitor firewood stock and ensure it remains dry.
• Consistently uphold the mission of 'doing what's right.'

Requirements:

• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a cooperative work environment.
• Demonstrate good communication and teamwork skills.
• Possess physical stamina to withstand a full shift on your feet.
• Pizza and wood-fired cooking experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
