Job Description
The Tundra Wilderness Tour Driver role offers a unique opportunity to share the natural and cultural history of Denali National Park with visitors. As a tour guide, you will provide a safe and comfortable experience for up to 52 passengers, some of whom may have limited physical abilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating engaging tours that meet or exceed National Park Service interpretive standards
- Presenting educational content on the bus and at rest stops
- Maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle
- Providing exceptional customer service and assisting guests with inquiries
- Fueling and performing inspections on the vehicle
- Adhering to emergency and accident procedures and radio protocols
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with no airbrake restrictions and a passenger endorsement
- 12 months of verifiable CDL experience
- Minimum of 23 years of age
- No suspension of driving privileges for moving violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Excellent customer service skills and knowledge of sub-arctic ecosystems
