Job Summary
In this critical care nursing role, you will be responsible for assessing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and coordinating a treatment plan to achieve the goals of the nursing department. You will work collaboratively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
You will respond to emergency situations such as Code Blue within the facility, initiate protocols, special procedures, and cardiac monitoring. Your duties will include managing patient flow, screening, preparing patients for exams, providing general nursing care, and arranging or testing admissions. You will also instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions, maintain and review patients' records, administer medications according to physician orders, and check rooms daily for necessary supplies.
Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing, holding either an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher. You must also be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license. A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification is required, while Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred and may be obtained within six months of hire/transfer date. Prior acute care Registered Nurse experience is desirable.
