Job Title: Controls Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Controls Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs and robots, and will be responsible for designing and implementing PLC controls for new and existing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement PLC controls for new and existing systems
- Troubleshoot and program existing and new plant automation equipment
- Integrate robots into production lines and optimize their performance
- Provide technical support to other plants as needed
- Manage project schedules and timelines for multiple plant projects
- Work collaboratively with production and process teams to identify and resolve cycle time and quality issues
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans for equipment
Requirements:
- BSEE or BSME Degree
- 3-5 years of experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs and robots
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley, Fanuc, and ABB robot systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of ladder logic programming, PLC 5, SLC500, ControlLogix, MicroLogix, RIO, Ethernet I/P, DeviceNet
