Job Overview
We seek an experienced Optometrist to conduct examinations, interpret clinical data, and generate independent medical opinions (IMO). Utilizing the Kinetic Perimetry VFT Equipment Compatibility Chart is essential for these duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct examinations for a variety of customers, including federal, defense, and others.
- Complete independent medical opinions regarding eye conditions.
- Perimetry requirements include charting 16 meridians, 22.5 degrees apart for each eye, and indicating the Goldman equivalent used.
- Diagnostic testing is also a critical aspect of this role.
Requirements
- Education: Ophthalmologist (M.D.) or Optometrist (O.D.) degree from an accredited university or college.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience as an Ophthalmologist or Optometrist is required.
- Certification: Unrestricted State medical licensure without limitations to perform full scope of authorized practice.
- Clearance: Ability to pass a medical clearance and obtain and maintain government clearances (LARS, Public Trust, NACI, BGI, etc.) as required.
