About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the position of Community Engagement Specialist. In this role, you will play a key part in creating a dynamic space for girls and the community to come together and learn.
The successful candidate will have a passion for community engagement and a talent for designing and implementing engaging programs. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to build strong relationships with visitors, parents, staff, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement programs that inspire creativity, critical thinking, and confidence-building.
- Organize and promote events, workshops, field trips, and open house opportunities to engage the community.
- Manage scheduling, setup, and teardown of spaces for events and programs.
- Collaborate with staff and external partners to deliver programs and activities that align with the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in education, community engagement, or youth programming is preferred.
- Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software.
