Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and supervision to individuals, ensuring their safety, engagement, and well-being.
- Assist with personal care tasks, including hygiene, dressing, mobility, and meal preparation.
- Implement and follow individualized care plans, supporting each person's goals and skill development.
- Administer medications accurately and in compliance with policies and regulations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Utilize approved behavior intervention techniques to assist individuals in emotional and behavioral regulation.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications in human services preferred.
- Certifications: Must obtain and maintain active certifications in CPR/First Aid and Mandt (or other crisis intervention training).
- Experience: Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required; a strong commitment to person-centered support is essential.
