About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for preparing work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists.
- Gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
- Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Verify specifications by measuring completed component.
- Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
Working Conditions:
This position requires working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and potential hazards.
Compensation:
The salary for this position is $16/hour.
Work Schedule:
This position requires working 2nd shift (4:30pm-4:30am) from Monday to Thursday.
