Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Attending Infectious Diseases physician to join our clinical faculty team. As the Director of Adult Inpatient Antimicrobial Stewardship, you will provide expert care in the ambulatory clinic and inpatient consultative service.
Responsibilities
- Promote optimal antibiotic utilization through routine programmatic evaluation and development of improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with inpatient Antimicrobial Stewardship pharmacists to enhance inter-disciplinary collaboration.
- Contribute to the Division of Infectious Diseases' mission to deliver exceptional patient care and enhance prevention and treatment of infectious diseases.
Requirements
- Clinical training and experience in Infectious Diseases in the acute care hospital and ambulatory care setting.
- At least 2 years of operational Antimicrobial Stewardship experience.
- Previous leadership experience and outstanding interpersonal skills.
