As an Aircraft Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of flights. Your primary responsibility will be to update and maintain the flight schedule database, monitoring each flight for any irregularities or deviations from the planned route.

As an Aircraft Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of flights. Your primary responsibility will be to update and maintain the flight schedule database, monitoring each flight for any irregularities or deviations from the planned route.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain flight schedule database
- Monitor flights for departures, arrivals, maintenance delays, and safety concerns
- Prepare and provide required data to crewmembers prior to departure, including weather reports, NOTAMS, weight and balance, and airport analysis
- Coordinate with pilots to prepare and issue flight releases in accordance with approved procedures
- Monitor flight progress, weather conditions, and destination/alternate airport status, and initiate contact with aircraft as necessary
- Ensure flight crewmembers are briefed on mechanical discrepancies, MEL/CDL deferrals, and other items affecting the intended flight
- Report and record all irregularities encountered during flight operations
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiarity with dispatching software, global positioning system, database, and aviation ground support software
- Knowledge of meteorology, aircraft navigation, instrumentation systems, landing/takeoff and emergency procedures, and FAA regulations
- Working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements
- 1-3 years previous experience in Flight Follower or similar role; Part 121 preferred
- FAA Aircraft Dispatcher License Required
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
