Nursing Interventions and Education
An Adult STAT RN uses problem-focused physical exams to evaluate and treat patients according to protocols.
They stabilize decompensating patients on the floor and in ICUs, manage ICU patients on the floor, and facilitate movement of patients to higher levels of care when needed.
Education Requirements:
Communicates effectively with patients, family members, employees, and others. Listens actively and verifies and clarifies messages. Seeks the input of others to achieve consensus.
