Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

This position is primarily responsible for performing accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions. Collaborates with Accounts Payable Specialists and acts as an additional resource for the team.

• Reviews the daily Accounts Payable transactions in Concur to ensure efficient and timely payments on invoices, check requests, and expense reports.
• Posts and processes check request payments twice a day for all divisions.
• Processes daily and weekly ACH and check payments across all divisions.
• Acts a backup for weekly auto voucher processing.
• Checks JP Morgan for Positive Pay exceptions.
• Monitors the community cross reference report on utility vendors.
• Reconciles and processes monthly rents across all divisions.
• Assists with any Concur/ JD Edwards testing as needed.
• Collaborates with AP Specialists to answer any division questions regarding Concur processing.
• Assists in gathering documentation for internal and external audits.
• Assists in processing and reviewing any errors in JD Edwards from the nightly Concur Extraction.

• 2-4 years accounts payable experience.

• Consistently shows attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and time management skills.
• Flexibility and the ability to manage numerous tasks.
• Proficient in accurate data entry.

• Large ERP system or JD Edwards accounts Payable experience preferred.

• Typical office environment.
