Beavertown Block Co is seeking a mechanically inclined Block Machine Operator to run and support concrete block production equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with machinery, troubleshooting problems, and staying hands-on throughout the shift. The ideal candidate is a self starter with a positive attitude who can focus on efficiency and quality
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and adjust block production equipment
- Set up mix designs per production schedule
- Inspect finished units for quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues
- Assist with routine maintenance and basic repairs
- Complete daily production reports
- Follow all safety procedures
Preferred Qualification:
- Mechanical background or strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Maintenance or manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Basic electrical experience a plus
- Basic math & reading skills
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Dependable, safety-focused, team-oriented
Work Environment:
This is an active, hands-on position. We're looking for someone who likes to stay busy. Operators are expected to remain engaged with machine monitoring, adjustments, inspections, and plant support tasks.
Schedule:
8 1/2 hour shift
Overtime may be necessary based on workload
