Fabricator

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated professional to immediately fill the position of an experienced Fabricator. This role will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components using MIG and TIG welding processes while maintaining high standards of quality, precision, and safety. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following activities in a fast-paced environment. This role is perfect for a motivated self-starter who can identify opportunities for improvement and proactively implement fundamental best practices. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Measure, mark, cut, and prepare materials for fabrication.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Fabricate and assemble components using saws, grinders, drills, and other shop equipment.
• Inspect welds and finished products to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier materials with assistance or lifting equipment.
• Grind, polish, and finish welded assemblies as required.
• Set up and maintain welding equipment and fabrication tools.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years of MIG and TIG welding/fabrication experience preferred.
• AWS welding certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication methods and metalworking equipment.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments, including tape measures, calipers, squares, and micrometers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
