Job Summary

This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality career while making every guest feel valued and welcome. For this position you must be 21years old or older. We are willing to train the right person with little to know experience. The right person will also be cross trained to bartend, so have more opportunities to pick up shifts.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms. We use Order Counter.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring presentation standards are met
- Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash and credit payments with professionalism and efficiency
- Upsell menu items by highlighting specials, signature cocktails and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables promptly and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed
- Support guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, dietary restrictions, or special requests with knowledgeable guidance
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and sales transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively
- Culinary experience combined with beverage expertise including cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, and drink service
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs seamlessly
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices to ensure guest safety and compliance
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with kitchen staff and team members for smooth service flow
