Production Supervisor

Job description

We are looking for a Production Supervisor. This is a long-term opportunity with a leader in the metal fabrication industry.

Job Summary: Responsible for supervising production with 15 employees and organizing work processes.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee the flow of work within the entire fabrication department in order to ship every order on time, every time.

• Establish job priorities.

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance.

• Give direction and set goals.

• Recommend and execute equipment selection, layout and installation.

• Meeting KPI metrics

• Perform all functions of a supervisor.

• Coordinate and cooperate with all cross-functional departments to ensure customer needs are fulfilled.

• Initiate continuing improvements in areas of assigned responsibility to improve quality, decrease lead times, enhance productivity and maintain safety and health.

• Monitor operations for compliance with the company’s quality policies and procedures and act as required to prevent or to remedy non-compliance.
