What You'll Do:
The Maintenance Manager will partner with the Director of Maintenance to oversee all maintenance operations across the resort—ensuring buildings, grounds, HVAC, pools, and utility systems are functional, safe, and well-maintained. They manage staff, budgets, preventive programs, and emergency responses, collaborating closely with other resort departments to ensure seamless guest service. The manager will oversee employees and temporary staff in a variety of positions including grounds, pool and maintenance technicians. The ideal candidate will be an experienced property maintenance professional who leads by example: Hiring, training, coaching, mentoring and delegating tasks to staff, but also being able to provide experience and hands-on support as needed. Reports to the Director of Maintenance. Full-time, year-round position with benefits eligibility as described below. Transitional housing may be available.
Exempt/salaried position starts at $72,000 - $85,000/yr DOE Discretionary Annual Bonus
Supervisory Duties:
- Directly supervise a team of 12-15 employees
- Hire, train and develop talent
- Performance Manage:
- Set goals and expectations
- Provide feedback and identify strengths/areas of improvement
- Create improvement plans and implement corrective action as necessary
- Time and attendance, scheduling, and payroll
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and guidelines
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations for the entire Beaver Run Resort property.
- Conduct regular inspections and schedule preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
- Design and implement preventative maintenance schedules for HVAC systems, pools, seasonal start-ups/shut-downs, and annual refresh cycles.
- Manage maintenance requests via software; assign tasks, track progress, and ensure timely completion.
- Manage maintenance budgets and forecasting.
- Negotiate service contracts, procure materials, and process invoices aligned with cost-efficiency goals.
- Communicate with guests and other departments in regard to outages, disruptions, etc.
- Maintain a working knowledge of policies and procedures as well as new technologies to improve operations and efficiency and make recommendations accordingly.
- Order supplies and manage inventory as needed.
- Adhere to and enforce all safety and environmental regulations for federal, state and local agencies.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word - required
- Familiarity with MPulse or similar type of maintenance software - required
- Proficiency in written and spoken English - required
- Bilingual English & Spanish – preferred
