Job Summary:
Beaver Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Night Shift Supervisor team. Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the nursing staff on the night shift, ensuring that all patient care is provided in accordance with established policies and procedures
Conduct regular rounds to ensure that patients' needs are met, and provide guidance and support to nursing staff as needed
Collaborate with the Nursing Manager and other department leaders to develop and implement effective care plans and quality improvement initiatives
Provide clinical leadership and expertise to nursing staff, including mentoring, coaching, and training
Participate in on-call and backup duty rotations to ensure seamless coverage and support
Maintain accurate records and reports, including incident reports, patient care records, and staffing grids
Requirements:
Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
Minimum 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting, preferably with experience as a supervisor or leadership role
Strong clinical knowledge and assessment skills
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred
