What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer: Playground sites position at Beaver County YMCA?

QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of 16 years of age, organizational, supervisory skills and an ability to teach sports, games and activities to participants.
BASIC FUNCTION: The successful candidate will plan and implement appropriate summer recreational activities for children at the designated site for our summer playground program.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Uphold the policies and philosophy of the Beaver County YMCA.
- Attend staff orientation, trainings and meetings when scheduled.
- Maintain professional conduct and a neat appearance consistent with the YMCA Dress Policy.
- Provide a safe, positive, nurturing environment for children.
- Interact with the children who attend the program by organizing and participating in planned enrichment activities and/or special events.
- Enforce playground and Summer Food Service Program site rules and regulations.
- Report all accidents/incidents to the Youth Director and fill out the appropriate forms.
- Responsible for all equipment and supplies assigned to the playground and turn in supplies at the end of the program along with an inventory list.
- Report needed repairs of dangerous situations to the Youth Director.
- Serve the provided meals to children on site who attend the program according to the Summer Food Service Program regulations.
- Keep accurate records of meal logs, attendance forms, waiver forms, and other documentation. Submit meal logs to the Food Service Director immediately after meal service time.
- Clean the playground site daily before the beginning of the session of dangerous materials and litter. Clean up the eating areas before and after meal time according to the Summer Food Service Program regulations.
