Responsibilities

• Operate POS systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations.
• Conduct engaging product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customers to explore new items.
• Assist with merchandising efforts by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring the sales floor is attractive and well-maintained.
• Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves efficiently and alerting management about low stock or out-of-stock items.
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting complementary items to enhance their shopping experience.
• Maintain professional phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely, ensuring clear and courteous communication.

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure smooth transactions.
• Previous supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in guiding team members or managing shifts.
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for pricing, discounts, and inventory counts.
• Strong communication skills in both verbal and written forms; bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customers.
• Experience in grocery store or retail sales environments is preferred for understanding store operations.
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices to keep the sales floor inviting.
• Excellent phone etiquette for professional remote communication with customers or vendors.
• Demonstrated ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor.

Pay: $21.41 - $23.79 per hour
