Responsibilities
- Operate POS systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations.
- Conduct engaging product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customers to explore new items.
- Assist with merchandising efforts by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring the sales floor is attractive and well-maintained.
- Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves efficiently and alerting management about low stock or out-of-stock items.
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting complementary items to enhance their shopping experience.
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely, ensuring clear and courteous communication.
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure smooth transactions.
- Previous supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in guiding team members or managing shifts.
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for pricing, discounts, and inventory counts.
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and written forms; bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customers.
- Experience in grocery store or retail sales environments is preferred for understanding store operations.
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices to keep the sales floor inviting.
- Excellent phone etiquette for professional remote communication with customers or vendors.

Pay: $21.41 - $23.79 per hour
