Duties
- Manage inventory control by receiving shipments, verifying stock accuracy with RF scanners, and organizing products on shelves using forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary
- Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring produce, grocery items, and retail merchandise are properly displayed and replenished regularly
- Assist with shipping & receiving tasks by loading and unloading deliveries safely and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the store environment through routine cleaning, organizing stock areas, and ensuring proper packaging of products
- Support merchandising efforts by setting up displays, rotating stock according to retail math principles, and ensuring signage is accurate
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with product inquiries, locating items, and offering friendly support in multiple languages if needed
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely while adhering to maintenance schedules
- Perform cashiering duties when required, including handling transactions accurately with strong communication skills
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient stocking procedures and maintain an organized warehouse experience
Experience
- Previous warehouse or retail experience is highly preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners is a plus
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is desirable; certification is a bonus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and stock accuracy
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual abilities are advantageous) to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during stocking or unloading activities
- Knowledge of retail math principles for pricing, stock rotation, and sales support
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness
