Quality Control Laboratory Technician

Your Role:

Analyze samples of raw materials, materials in process batches and finished product, making basics batch adjustments under direction. Releasing materials for production following lab protocol.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Analyze raw materials, materials in process and finished product. Working up product adjustments in lab based upon prior successful history and trail laboratory adjustment.
• Prepare test solutions and reagents and maintain standardization and supply.
• Sample raw materials and apply status stickers.
• Perform raw material testing and testing production batches.
• Some knowledge of cGMP protocol.
• Perform HPLC methods testing and GC method testing.
• Perform additional duties as directed or assigned by QC Lab Supervisor or Quality Manager.

SKILLS, ABILITIES and EDUCATION:

• College degree preferred, or previous lab experience or on the job experience.
• Basics knowledge lab practice or chemistry background.
• Ability to perform procedures accurately and efficiently; work independently and with a team; maintain good working relationship with other staff.
• Experience with basic computer skills.

SPECIAL SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS:

• Follow all plant safety rules.
• No sensitivity to chemicals used in the lab or production area.

COMPENSATION:

The hourly wage for this position is expected to be $24.00
