- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment in accordance with health regulations.
- Use salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client information, and process retail sales efficiently.
- Provide personalized consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable hair care products or services.
- Upsell retail products like hair care items, nail care products, and accessories to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and coordinating appointment schedules.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in hair styling techniques, color theory, barbering skills like straight razor shaves, and overall client communication.
Skills
- Proficiency with salon management software such as MINDBODY for scheduling and retail transactions.
- Extensive experience working in the beauty industry with strong skills in hair styling, coloring, extensions, and barbering techniques including straight razors.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Ability to perform specialized services such as hair threading, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care.
