The Role
The Ad Ops Manager is responsible for day-to-day implementation and management of digital advertising campaigns. This includes ad trafficking and technical support. This position will coordinate efforts with various groups within the organization such as the investment/media buying team (internal and client side), publishers, and AdTech vendors. They will report directly to the Director.

$50,000—$95,000 USD
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.

The Role
The Ad Ops Manager is responsible for day-to-day implementation and management of digital advertising campaigns. This includes ad trafficking and technical support. This position will coordinate efforts with various groups within the organization such as the investment/media buying team (internal and client side), publishers, and AdTech vendors. They will report directly to the Director.
Responsibilities
- Process ad trafficking requests accurately and efficiently, including:
- QA of trafficking sheets (identification and remediation of issues)
- Upload/Assign creative files into the ad server, as detailed in the trafficking sheet
- Implementation of additional ad tracking code (e.g., verification, viewability, research study etc.
- QA and generate ad tags for distribution to publishers
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to ad delivery and performance
- Analyze and distribute campaign performance and discrepancy reports
- Stay informed about changes in the digital advertising space and maintain functional knowledge of core ad technologies (e.g., DoubleClick, Innovid, IAS, etc.)
- Administer login requests and permission settings within the ad technology platforms
- Lead new and junior team members through trainings and onboardings
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure quality assurance standards are met
- Ensure trafficking best practices are maintained across the portfolio
- Maintain communication and oversight of remote teams assisting with campaign trafficking and QA
- 4 years technical experience across digital technologies and functions, such as: Display Ad Servers, Standard/Mobile Ad Servers, Rich/Video Ad Servers, Ad Viewability & Fraud, Behavioral Targeting Compliance, Tag Management, Dynamic Creative
- Some people management or mentoring responsibility preferred
- Methodological approach to work and excellent problem-solving abilities
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to independently manage multiple projects
- Demonstrated skill using Excel (Spreadsheets, Pivot Tables, Key Formulas, etc.), Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical people internally and externally
- Experience working in an agency environment and knowledge of the agency media campaign planning and execution process is preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML and troubleshooting online technical issues
- Hands on experience with AI is preferred
