Who is Beauty Barrage?

Beauty Barrage is a full-service strategic sales management team with our Field Team servicing doors across North America and the UK. Beauty Barrage works with some of the hottest brands in beauty today and provides in-store support in retailers like Sephora, ULTA, Bluemercury, and more! Job Summary:

As an HR Coordinator, you will support daily operations across employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and general HR administration. You’ll assist with maintaining employee records, preparing documentation, assisting with onboarding, and ensuring HR processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Our HR Coordinators are expected to be detail-oriented, highly organized, and excellent communicators with strong time-management skills. You should be comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment, have a proactive mindset, and enjoy collaborating with others to create a positive employee experience.

This is a full-time role with a Monday-Friday work schedule at our Corporate Office in Newport Beach, CA. Must be local to Orange County and be able to work on-site.

Job Duties:

  • Assist with all internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, ensuring smooth communication and timely resolution of HR-related queries
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee information (including payroll, personal data, and leave) in both digital and physical formats, ensuring compliance with employment requirements
  • Redirect HR-related calls or correspondence to the appropriate team member as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional HR processes
  • Assist with payroll processing and various ad-hoc HR projects as assigned
  • Provide administrative support to other HR functions, including onboarding, employee engagement, and HR compliance
  • Stay informed of current HR trends, regulations, and best practices to support continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment and labor laws and internal policies




Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in HR coordination, administration, or a similar role
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS systems
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Familiarity with basic HR functions and best practices
