Product Development Assistant

Beauty 21 Cosmetics, Inc. has a position open for Production Coordinator.  The ideal candidate must be creative, multi-task several projects at a time, demonstrate a positive attitude, and have excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail.

Job Purpose:

Supports product development and design team in assisting in new product development and product launches.

Duties include but not limited to the following:

Overseas projects from start to finish- to ensure projects stay within timeframe and deadlines. 

Coordinate with vendors for new prototypes to final QC of product before shipment.

Maintain tracking report of scheduled product launches.

Coordinate with designers to ensure projects are assigned, proofed, and completed.

Collaborate with marketing/sales team to assist and execute projects, provide ideas for new marketing opportunities by researching and analyzing market and sales data.

Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on beauty industry trends, marketing activities, and competitors.

Assist and execute in the development and design of new products.

Attend meetings with marketing/sales team and vendors as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills, marketing background, experience with overseas vendors, attention to detail, branding, detailed organizational skills, creative, independent, high-energy level. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to keep up to date with current trends and experience with product development.

Passion for make-up, fashion, and beauty industry.

Hours: Full Time Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm, On-Site, No Hybrid or Work from home.
