Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to maintain a spotless environment.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures in accordance with health and safety standards to ensure hygiene excellence.
- Clean floors using appropriate methods such as sweeping, scrubbing, and carpet cleaning to uphold floor care standards.
- Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items.
- Use cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively to achieve optimal results while adhering to safety protocols.
- Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment with proper technique to prevent injury.
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding their specific cleaning needs and preferences to ensure customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial roles with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and outdoor work experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, sanitation procedures, and the operation of various cleaning equipment.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the workday.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual handling tasks confidently.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus for senior roles.
