Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our hospitality team at Beaus Diner. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for ensuring their dining experience is exceptional and memorable. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a warm and welcoming demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You will also be working behind our Sweets bar making milkshakes, sweet treats, and fun coffee!
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and bid them farewell upon departure, ensuring a positive and inviting atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements, taking into account guest preferences and special requests.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring all guests feel welcome and valued.
- Assist servers by serving food and beverages, and delivering prompt and attentive service.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including the host stand, restaurant floor, and restrooms.
- Provide guests with menus, specials of the day, and other relevant information.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of the restaurant's menu and offerings.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and cleaning up the dining area.
- Assist the FOH by maintaining a clean dining room for our customers including, clearing and wiping tables, sweeping floor, vacuuming
