Duties
- Provide therapy services to clients across the lifespan, including geriatrics, pediatrics, and individuals with special needs
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Utilize clinical research and evidence-based practices in therapy sessions
- Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Demonstrate proficiency in behavioral health interventions and psychopharmacology
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using ICD-10 coding
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, Clinical Counseling
- Current registration as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC)
- Experience in diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning
- Strong understanding of crisis intervention techniques
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology and its implications in therapy
- Familiarity with working in diverse settings including schools, clinics, or community mental health centers
