Job Summary
Under supervision of the school principal or designee, this position assumes the clerical and data entry functions often performed by site counselors to assist student placement into the master schedule for courses approved by the counselor. Assisting the counseling staff with processing confidential information for students in the administration and record keeping associated state and federal testing is an essential responsibility. Direct and frequent contact with with students, staff, and parents is required.

**EXPERIENCE CREDIT: A maximum of Three (3) years may be granted for experience outside the Beaumont Unified School District. Therefore, an external new hire's maximum starting salary for this position is $ 26.53 per hour (Range 13/Step 4).
Experience:
• Two (2) years of office experience
• Experience in California Public Schools, preferred
• Customer service training and/or experience is desirable
• Any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and ability
• Fluency in the Spanish language, desirable
Licenses, Certifications, and Testing
• Pre-employment physical and drug test
• A current and valid Tuberculosis (TB) clearance
• Fingerprint clearance for school personnel
• Pass District test with a score of 70% or better
• Pass District test typing fifty (50) words per minute
