This position is for the 2026-27 school year.
In-District Teachers will have first priority.
Current BUSD teachers need only to submit a Certificated Request for Transfer (located on our website).
Preferred Qualifications:
Video Game Design
- Credential Copy (or proof of 3 years of full time industry experience in the last 10 years)
- Letter of Introduction
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (3)
- Resume

English Learner Authorization is not required to apply, but you must have the ability to obtain one (we will assist upon hire).
Option I:
Hold a valid California Industrial & Technology Education (ITE) credential.
Option II:
Hold a valid California CTE credential in the following pathways:
Arts, Media, and Entertainment
Option III:
Have the ability to obtain a CTE credential (3 years of full time industry experience within the last 10 years, 1 year being in the last 5 years). Please click on link for CTC information on obtaining a CTE credential.
A Maximum of fifteen (15) years of teaching experience and/or proven industry experience will be accepted. Salary placement with fifteen (15) or more years is step 16.
