Waitstaff serve the residents in the dining rooms and provide meal delivery in a professional manner and style of excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for general table set-up and side work to prepare for approaching mealtime and closing.
- Maintains a clean working environment and performs cleaning duties at service down time.
- Performs general busing of dishes and silverware as well as ensuring that the tabletops and chairs are clean at all times.
- At all times carry out proper service for formal dining.
- Attend and participate in and disseminate information presented in Dining Review.
- Use excellent penmanship.
- Always maintain business etiquette even during non-service times.
- Provide training to all new staff members as assigned by management.
- Arrive on time in proper uniform attire.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications/Skills
- Previous dining experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of proper servicing techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to speak and write in the English language.
- Proficient in POS (Point of Sale).
- Knowledge of using an iPad.
Physical Requirements
- Long periods of standing and walking.
- Required to work in extreme temperatures at times.
- Must be able to lift and push up to 50 pounds periodically.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Other Duties
