Laundry Aide

Beaumont is looking for a Laundry Aide to join the team! Experience is not required, but preferred. We will provide on-the-job training. Must have a positive, cheerful attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional service to the home and its residents.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts;
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers;
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers;
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts;
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory;
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing;
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner;
• Follows all company policies and procedures;
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs;
• Delivers laundry as specified;
• Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights;
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc.
• Ability to work independently.
• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel
• Laundry experience is a plus!
