Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Elementary Education and Education, with knowledge of child development and age-appropriate instructional practices.
- Proficiency in Teaching and classroom management, including the ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
- Experience or skills in Curriculum Development, including planning, adapting, and integrating district curriculum and instructional materials.
- Effective Communication skills for working with students, families, colleagues, and administrators in a collaborative school environment.
- Valid Texas teaching certification in Elementary Education (or eligibility to obtain appropriate certification within required timelines).
- Ability to use instructional technology and data systems to support learning, assessment, and progress monitoring.
- Commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive teaching practices and to maintaining a safe, respectful learning environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; prior classroom teaching experience in elementary grades is preferred.
