PRN PARAMEDIC-TRIAGE / REGISTRATION Mid Shift

Beaumont Emergency Hospital, located in Beaumont Texas, is looking for high energy, self-motivated, passionate PARAMEDIC-TRIAGE / REGISTRATION who is committed to delivering HIGH-QUALITY CARE. We are seeking a dedicated Paramedic-Triage / Registration to provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Physician. In this role, you will assess patients, administer medical care, assist with registration, and collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient and compliant healthcare services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Administer medical care to sick or injured patients as directed by a Physician
• Identify and report abnormal findings or changes in patient conditions, escalating concerns as needed.
• Interview patients or their representatives to assess medical concerns and care needs.
• Assist with patient registration, ensuring accurate data collection and documentation.
• Maintain detailed records in compliance with HIPAA and EMTALA regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Coordinate communication between patients, families, medical staff, and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications, Education and / or Experience

• Active Paramedic License (State-Specific Requirements Apply).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Previous emergency medicine or triage experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and written, strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

COMPUTER SKILLS

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Proficient with utilizing EMRs
