- Managing and overseeing the delivery of human services programs to ensure they are effective, efficient, and meet the needs of service populations.
- Ensuring that all programs and services comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies and standards.
- Designing and developing new programs or modifying existing ones based on the needs assessment and best practices in the field.
- Engaging in strategic planning activities to set program goals, objectives, and outcomes, and developing plans to achieve them.
- Building and maintaining relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and service populations to foster collaboration and support for programs.
- Organizing and coordinating monthly in-service training sessions for local professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Identifying key training and professional development opportunities for department staff to ensure they remain current with best practices and regulatory changes.
- Implementing quality assurance measures to ensure that programs meet established standards and deliver high-quality services to clients.
- Advocating for clients by addressing systematic barriers to service and working to improve access and equity in service delivery.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Public Health, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, Community Development, or a related field. Master’s preferred, including Master of Social Work (MSW), Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Human Services (MSHS), or a related field.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in human services, including case management, advocacy, crisis intervention, community outreach, healthcare navigation, or related fields.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local human services regulations.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Bi-lingual preferred.
SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
Salary : $65,728 - $78,395
