Part-Time Store Clerk – Beaufort County ABC Board

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Hours: 15–25 hours per week

The Beaufort County ABC Board is seeking dependable, customer-focused individuals to join our team as Part-Time Store Clerks. This position primarily supports our evening operations and requires the ability to work at multiple retail locations throughout Beaufort County.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in a professional and friendly manner
• Accurately operate the point-of-sale (POS) register system
• Receive, unload, stock, and rotate merchandise
• Maintain store cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal
• Assist with inventory management and loss prevention efforts
• Open and/or close the store as assigned
• Follow all ABC Board policies and safety procedures
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Assist at multiple store locations and the ABC warehouse as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid North Carolina driver's license required
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, reaching, and stocking
• Availability to work evenings and Saturdays
• Previous retail or cash-handling experience is preferred but not required

Work Locations

Applicants must be willing to work at any of our six Beaufort County ABC retail locations and the ABC warehouse as needed.

Pay: $14.00 per hour
