Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Patient Service Representative role located in Odessa, FL. The Patient Service Representative will greet and check in patients, verify demographic and insurance information, and accurately schedule and manage appointments. Daily responsibilities include answering phone calls, responding to patient inquiries, and maintaining professional phone etiquette. The role also involves supporting insurance verification processes, collecting copays, updating patient records, and coordinating with clinical staff to ensure a smooth patient experience. The Patient Service Representative will contribute to an organized, welcoming front office environment and uphold the practice’s commitment to high-quality, compassionate eye care.
Qualifications
- Strong appointment scheduling and patient intake skills, including managing calendars and coordinating follow-up visits.
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with patients and families.
