- Operate company intermodal trailers in a safe, compliant manner.
- Perform hook/unhook and securements required for intermodal operations (100% no‑touch trailer freight — no manual unloading).
- Follow assigned routes and schedules, maintain punctuality, and communicate with dispatch as needed.
- Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate hours‑of‑service records via ELD.
- Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and report equipment issues promptly.
- Schedule & location
- Night shift; typical start times at 18:00 (6:00 PM).
- Schedules operate on a 7‑day rotation: Sun–Thu or Tue–Sat.
- Home daily; primary operations in Washington with occasional runs into Oregon.
- Position based in Sumner, WA; candidates located within approximately 25 miles are preferred to maintain daily home time.
- Compensation & benefits
- $1,400–$1,800 per week depending on hours and load counts.
- $16.00 per hour; overtime paid after 40 hours.
