What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fiberglass Technician position at Beasley Marine?
We’re looking for a skilled boat builder to add to our staff. In this position, it will be your job to repair and upgrade a wide variety of boats.
You’ll complete several key repair and maintenance tasks as one of our marine techs. For example, you’ll be asked to
Remove and install hardware, sand/grind fiberglass/carbon fiber, laminate fiberglass, prime and spray primer and topcoat.( paints include AwlGrip, Durepox, Interlux Interprotect, and various brands and styles of bottom paint.
We’d prefer to hire a candidate who has formal marine training at a technical school or apprenticeship but will also hire the right candidate without this training. You can send us your resume to begin the application process.
3 years of experience in the marine industry.
Sailing and boating experience.
Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
