Use your practical skills to support life-changing Christian camp ministry.

Beartooth Christian Camp (BCC) is seeking a dependable, hands-on Facilities Coordinator who loves Jesus,

enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in caring for a place where people encounter Christ.

You will maintain camp buildings, grounds, utilities, vehicles, and equipment while coordinating projects,

volunteers, and service providers. Working closely with camp leadership, you will create a safe, welcoming

environment where campers, guests, and staff can focus on the camp experience.

What You’ll Do

Maintain facilities and improve camp operations

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs within your
• qualifications.
• Coordinate qualified service providers for specialized work.
• Maintain roads, trails, landscaping, signage, and outdoor spaces.
• Coordinate assigned maintenance, inspections, and documentation for camp utilities and water systems.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and deliver seasonal preparation, event setup, and teardown.

Lead and work alongside others

• Model Christ-centered servant leadership through humility, integrity, and care.
• Coordinate assigned facilities staff and volunteers, providing clear priorities, training, and supervision.
• Lead seasonal staff through facilities orientation, practical training, and encouragement.
• Keep the Executive Director informed of facility needs, project progress, and resource requirements.
• Collaborate across departments and provide occasional support for broader camp needs.

Protect people and steward resources

• Identify and address hazards, remove unsafe equipment from use, and communicate unresolved concerns.
• Follow applicable safety procedures and coordinate assigned inspections and certifications.
• Operate tools, machinery, and vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Maintain organized shops, secure storage, and accurate inventories.
• Care for camp assets and purchase supplies within approved budgets and spending limits.

What You Bring

• A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and agreement with BCC’s mission, statement of faith, and conduct
• expectations.
• Relevant experience in facilities maintenance, construction, property care, or related trades.
• Practical repair and troubleshooting skills, with sound judgment about when to call a professional.
• Initiative, organization, and dependable follow-through.
• The ability to work independently and lead staff and volunteers with patience and clear communication.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance records, scheduling, and purchasing.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to complete required screening and job-related training.
• The ability to perform essential hands-on duties in indoor and outdoor camp environments.
• Christian camp experience is welcome. A heart for ministry, relevant skills, and a willingness to learn are
• essential.

Schedule & Compensation

This year-round position includes a salary of $30,000 - $40,000 and on-site housing [Camp has several housing options from 2 bedrooms - 4 bedrooms, utilities and internet are included, and meals are included while group are on site.] On-site residence is required.

The schedule follows camp activity and seasonal maintenance needs, including scheduled evenings, weekends, and emergency on-call coverage. Regular days off and coverage arrangements will be established with camp leadership.
