Role Description
This is a contract, on-site position for an Orthopedic Technician and must be willing to travel on-site to Palm Springs, CA. The Orthopedic Technician will be responsible for performing duties such as applying, adjusting, and removing orthopedic devices, including casts and splints, ensuring proper patient care. Responsibilities include assisting in orthopedic evaluations, interpreting medical terminology, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide effective treatment and support. The role requires attention to detail, patient-centered care, and adherence to medical protocols.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Casting and Splinting techniques for various treatments
- Strong knowledge of Orthopedics and Medical Terminology
- Understanding of general medical practices and patient care
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Outstanding communication skills and professionalism
- Previous experience in an orthopedic or healthcare setting is preferred
- Certification or formal training in orthopedic technology is a plus
