We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Contractor Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of various construction projects, assisting with site preparation, material handling, and building tasks to ensure smooth project execution. Duties
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to support building activities
- Support framing, drywall installation, roofing, flooring, and other building material installations
- Help with the interpretation of technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute tasks accurately
- Perform outdoor work including hardscaping, landscaping, and restoration projects as needed
- Assist with window installation, door hanging, cabinet installation, and other finish carpentry tasks
- Follow safety protocols diligently and report any hazards or incidents immediately
Qualifications
- Previous construction site experience or related manual labor work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment operation
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately
- Knowledge of building materials such as drywall, stucco, masonry, roofing materials, and flooring products
- Understanding of safety procedures on construction sites and adherence to safety standards at all times
- Outdoor work experience is a plus; physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
