Aide, 1:1 Special Education Moderate/Severe
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Aide to provide individualized support to students with moderate to severe special needs at North Shore Elementary School. The successful candidate will work closely with the special education team to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with moderate to severe special needs
- Assist with implementing individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Support students in developing social and life skills
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure student success
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Experience working with students with special needs
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Physical stamina to keep up with the demands of the job
