Position Overview
Bear Valley Dental Care is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Temporary Dental Hygienist to join our team in Hatboro, PA. This role will provide maternity leave coverage from September through the end of November. We are looking for a dependable and adaptable professional who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining a positive, efficient clinical environment.
Schedule
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
This position is based exclusively in our Hatboro location.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
- Take and review digital radiographs
- Perform periodontal charting and patient assessments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventative treatments
- Partner with the doctor and team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation
- Follow all infection control and sterilization protocols
- Provide a welcoming, comfortable experience for all patients
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Dental Hygienist license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong clinical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual with a strong team-oriented mindset
