DEPARTMENT: Urgent CareSHIFT: 8 Hour Shifts (Exempt)POSITION SUMMARYThe Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day management of patients in the outpatient Urgent Care setting. The Provider manages the health of patients by providing evaluation and management of acute and chronic illnesses/conditions. Assists in the development of and participation in health care services related to an Industrial Medicine/Work Comp program. The Provider is responsible for the coordination of care with specialists and appropriate ancillary services and shall work collaboratively with all members of the health care team. ESSENTIAL DUTIESProvide quality patient care to patients through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.Enhance the quality of patient management and satisfaction through support and collaboration with various internal and external programs/organizations.All other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
