Branch Manager – Carolinas (Direct Hire)

Position Summary
Bear Staffing is seeking an experienced Local Branch Manager to oversee operations across multiple yard locations throughout the Carolinas. This leader will supervise installation teams, ensure equipment and trucks are maintained, manage materials and inventory, and support scheduling and dispatch. The Local Manager ensures that all branches operate efficiently, safely, and in alignment with company standards.
This role will be based in Fayetteville, NC and will oversee:
- North Carolina: Asheboro & Fayetteville
- South Carolina: Columbia
Key Responsibilities
Training & Coaching
- Train new hires in installation methods, safety practices, and communication protocols.
- Conduct 60-day performance reviews for all new employees.
- Provide ongoing coaching to improve productivity, professionalism, and safety adherence.
Jobsite & Quality Audits
- Perform a minimum of two jobsite audits per installer foreman per month.
- Verify all installations meet quality, safety, and communication standards.
- Provide real-time feedback and document audit results.
Safety Leadership
- Ensure 100% participation in weekly safety briefs.
- Confirm installers complete daily vehicle inspection reports (DVIRs).
- Conduct layered audits on load securement, vehicle safety, and overall compliance.
Inventory & Equipment Management
- Ensure timely completion of weekly parts inventory reports.
- Conduct weekly tool and equipment audits, repairing/replacing items when needed.
- Promote cost-effective decision-making and equipment accountability.
Daily Plan Execution
- Ensure trucks are fully and accurately loaded for the next day’s schedule.
- Confirm dispatch instructions are executed properly by installers and yard staff.
- Lead daily pre-shift meetings covering safety, job reviews, and updates.
- Identify and resolve operational barriers.
Additional Duties
- Support yard, dispatch, installation, and customer-facing activities as needed.
- Proactively identify operational challenges and contribute to process improvements.
Success Benchmarks
- 2 jobsite audits per foreman per month
- 100% safety brief participation
- 100% completion of DVIRs
- All 60-day new hire reviews completed
- Yard organized, maintained, and ready for next-day operations
